    Beginner Level: Anyone new to Hot Sauce Burlesque School, regardless of background or prior knowledge. Offering an introduction, refinement or further development to a fundamental level covering core burlesque movements. Welcome to anyone looking to refresh their skills or just love the theme!

  • About this class: Experience the thrill of burlesque in this sass-energy class set to the iconic Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes. You’ll learn the essential pillars of burlesque dance (bumps, grinds, parades, and shimmies) while building confidence and having fun in a supportive space. The routine also includes a classic skirt peel and glove peel, taught step-by-step so beginners feel comfortable and returning dancers can polish their technique. This class is perfect for absolute newcomers, anyone wanting to refine core burlesque skills, or those who simply love the song’s irresistible beat.     At the end of your 8-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our Student Showcase on MARCH 20TH and 21st (Part of Adelaide Fringe!)

What to Wear to Class: Be comfortable.

Active Level: This class may include floor work and consensual and guided contact with another person.
Costume: Red or Black lingerie, red and black gloves
Costume is purchased at the student's expense under the guidance of your teacher.
Nudity Level: To be discussed in class.
* Student Showcase is always highly encouraged but remains optional, your teacher will talk through this more with you during term.
