Beginner Feather Fans: One of the most iconic Burlesque props!
This class is not suitable for those completely new to the art of Burlesque, please book into one of our regular Beginner class first or be doing a beginner burlesque class concurrently.
About this class: This beginner-friendly feather fan class breaks down classic fan movements, simple transitions, and playful technique, all set to the glam rock vibe of Bowie’s Starman. By the end of this class, you should feel confident with the foundational feather fan technique and know how to connect them to build a smooth, connected act!
At the end of your 8-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our Student Showcase on MARCH 20TH and 21st (Part of Adelaide Fringe!)

What to Wear to Class: Be comfortable.
Song: Star Man - David Bowie
Active Level: Feather Fans require strong wrists, arm and shoulders.
Costume: Robe or cape with silver sparkles, and then silver, shiny underwear (so we're the sky and then the stars, More to be discussed in week one!
Props: Fans are provided for this class.
Costume is purchased at the student's expense under the guidance of your teacher.
Nudity Level: To be discussed.
* Student Showcase is always highly encouraged but remains optional, your teacher will talk through this more with you during term.
