Have you ever wanted to dip your toe (or toes) into the world of tap dancing? Learn from Adelaide Taplesque performer, Ember Rose, as you integrate the technique of tap dancing with the tease of burlesque. Gain knowledge of beginner tap dancing steps and techniques along with choreography for a tap-burlesque fusion!
Participants to bring: Tap shoes, gloves, scarf, water bottle. Alternatively, sneakers are an option (but to gain the most out of these workshops tap shoes are highly recommended. Suggestions for second hand shoes include Facebook marketplace, local dance shops, dance studios, etc.)
Please note:
Participants do not need to have previous experience with tap dancing to take part in this workshop.
This is not a fire tap workshop
Additional Information: As tap dancing is an art form that relies on creating rhythm and sounds with the feet, it is important to note that workshops may be a loud auditory experience. Participants are encouraged to bring auditory devices and tools to help limit sensory overload if needed.
