Beginner Feather Fans: One of the most iconic Burlesque props!
This class is not suitable for those completely new to the art of Burlesque, please book into one of our regular Beginner class first or be doing a beginner burlesque class concurrently.

About this Class: Learn foundational feather fan choreography, transitional movements, and how to tease and take up space with one of burlesque's most iconic props.

In this class, we're clams. One of the ocean's most underrated creatures, don't you think? Still, strong, and protective, we open to share our pearly treasures only when the audience has earned the right to witness it. We'll lean into emotion, characterisation, and graceful strength, supported by the powerful vocals of Florence and the Machine.

Expect some floorwork and groupwork (accommodations available for anyone who needs them). By the end, you'll know how to create shapes, build your own feather fan choreography from the core movements, and have honestly too many ways to embody a clam.
    * Feather fans are provided for class and performance use.

At the end of your 8-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our Student Showcase

Showcase Ticket Link: https://events.humanitix.com/stripwrecked-student-showcase

What to Wear to Class: Be comfortable.
Song: Water Gave Me by Florence and the Machine
