Open Level: Must have completed at least one term in beginners or enrolled in beginners during the same term as you plan to enrol in Open Level. Developing stage craft and refining movement with reflections on core burlesque skills.About this class: Ever wanted to be a boy band babe from the late '90s and early 2000s? Now's your chance to ask all of your friends. Am I sexual? and for them to scream, yeah! Say bye, bye, bye to insecurities as Saskia teaches you how to have the confidence of an average white cis dude with questionable facial hair.
Saskia teaches musicality, comedic timing, physical theatre, movement to suit your body and ability.
She has 10+ years of professional burlesque performance experience, a background in multiple styles of dance, improv roleplaying (TTRPG style) and is a self proclaimed theatre kid.
At the end of your 8-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our Student Showcase on MARCH 20TH and 21st (Adelaide Fringe!)

What to Wear to Class: Be comfortable.
Song: Mashup of different boy band songs from the late 90s & early 2000s
Active Level: This class will include floor work and consensual and guided contact with another person.
Costume: White button up, tear away pants, white tee, hat/bandana/wireless mic, white underpants and bra
Costume is purchased at the student's expense under the guidance of your teacher.
Nudity Level: Pasties
* Student Showcase is always highly encouraged but remains optional, your teacher will talk through this more with you during term.
