    Open Level Burlesque: Must have completed at least one term in beginners or enrolled in beginners during the same term as you plan to enrol in Open Level. Developing stage craft and refining movement with reflections on core burlesque skills.

  • Weaving Lady Gaga’s iconic dance moves into a magic show with a twist, this dance will teach you the recognisable sections of the Abracadabra dance interlaced with simple magic tricks and narrative dancing. These magic show prowls across the stage with ferocious intensity and spooky intent.

    Abracadabra made waves with its mobility aid and seated dance inclusive moves. We will stay true to this movement inclusive focus. Seated dancers will find their time to shine in this stunning routine.

    NOTE: This routine has a seated option for those students needing to be seated. It is an open level class suitable for all.

  • At the end of your 7-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our famous Student Showcase 10/11th October. If you choose to join us for Showcase and require access support at Goodwood Theatre, please inform your teacher before week 4 of term.

What to Wear to Class: Whatever you feel comfortable in.
Song: Abracadabra - Lady Gaga .
Costume: Students are to select their own magic show themed costume: magicians, rabbits, doves, clowns, magician’s assistants - the sky is the limit and students can dictate the complexity and cost of the costume as long as it has 3 removal options
Costume is purchased at the students expense under the guidance of your teacher.
Nudity Level: Pending Class Discussion
Props: Chairs can be provided.
* Student Showcase is always highly encouraged but remains optional, your teacher will talk through this more with you during term.
