About this Class:
Athena’s BurlyPop combines elements of traditional Burlesque and Modern Pop dance.
Learn how to flaunt across slow and sultry teases and fierce, snappy choreographed dance breaks (yes, you CAN have it all in one!). This class will provide a masterclass in not only presenting as “that b*tch”, but Athena’s speciality on body-face movement will have you FEELING it.
Wanting to diversify your choreographic repertoire? Athena’s extensive cross-disciplinary dance and directorial background has you covered!
Looking for help exploring larger-than-life facial expressions and practice musicality? This is largely what Athena is recognised for in the industry!
Discover a modern take on burlesque and lean into your luxurious fantasy (you’re worth it ;) ).
At the end of your 8-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our Student Showcase

What to Wear to Class: Be comfortable.

Active Level: May feature floorwork
Costume: Soft brown cloaks/robes, nude gauntlets, white with AB shawls, white with AB skirts/shorts, AB lingerie set (Bra/harness, underwear & pasties)
Costume is purchased at the student's expense under the guidance of your teacher.
Nudity Level: Pasties.
