WORKSHOP: Props and How to Interact With Them w/Ember Rose

$49.00

3-430
Sunday July 20th
Essential Talent - Adelaide CBD
Cost includes GST and Booking Fee
Tickets are non refundable

The Burlesque artform integrates various costume pieces and props to help enhance a story, but how can you find different ways to interact with them? Following on from Characterisation 101 and Characterisation Through Choreography, this workshop aims to introduce a variety of props and how to utilise them dependent on characterisation.

Participants will work with gloves, hand fans, and more to see how their interaction with
these props can enhance a routine and relationship with the audience. Please note it is not a requirement that participants attend Characterisation 101 and

Characterisation Through Choreography. Ember will go through the teachings briefly, but it is recommended if you’re wanting an in-depth understanding of these skills to attend the previous workshops.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves, jackets, pillows, and any other strange props they may want to work with.

It is recommended that participants bring notebooks, paper and pens to write down helpful
information as well as dancewear, water bottles and towels.
