Beginner Level: Anyone new to Hot Sauce Burlesque School, regardless of background or prior knowledge. Offering an introduction, refinement or further development to fundamental level covering core burlesque movements.Stripping back to the simple art of strut-and-strip with a saucy reveal glove peel. Perfect for beginners or refining core fundamentals of burlesque, this classic Doris Day routine features simple movement with smouldering storytelling through tease and temptation.
At the end of your 6-week commitment, you have the opportunity to participate in our Student Showcase
What to Wear to Class: Comfy active clothes
Song: Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps by Doris Day
Active Level: This class may include consensual and guided contact of other students and floor work.
Costume: Pink/Red/Yellow/Gold/Orange floor length gown with zip and slide-brown removal, matching colour lingerie, matching colour necklaces/ earrings and hair accessories, white over-the-elbow gloves, nude/silver/pink dancing shoes with strap.
Costume is purchased at the students expense under the guidance of your teacher.
Nudity Level: Pastie reveal (optional)
* Student Showcase is always highly encouraged but remains optional, your teacher will talk through this more with you during term.
