Cornerstone burlesque moves ie posture, bump & grinds, strut and parade with a sprinkle of Serafina sass.
The art of tease - hide & reveals, audience engagement, inner performer monologue.
What are burlesque foundations?
- Corner stone physical movements
- Understanding of burlesque history
- Burlesque as a performance art vs dance style
- Creating a confident base to build on.
Will it be the same every class?
You will gain something different from each class, however, for this style of session, there will be an element of repetition - but it will be reframed and presented differently each week.
I am a complete beginner, can I jump on?
Absolutely! These sessions are an excellent taster if you can’t commit to a full term. Serafina will guide you through burlesque foundations step-by-step so you feel comfortable and confident.
I am an experienced student, what will I get out of it?
An excellent opportunity to refine and polish your base movements of burlesque for performance or more advanced burlesque classes.
An excellent add-on to your current weekly classes and a great opportunity to scaffold your learning.
